- be a U.S. citizen
- be a Fulton County resident boy or girl ages 14, 15, or 16.
- be either a low to moderate risk, first time juvenile court offender, an “at risk” youth. Please do not refer high-risk youth or youth with more than one juvenile offense.
- complete an AAW job application and attend a scheduled interview session. Youth must present three (3) original pieces of art during the interview session. NOTE: Applicant becomes employed based upon interview.
- be able to work Monday through Thursday, 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Please do not refer youth who are involved in another program and cannot commit to attending AAW during program operating hours.
Referrals are NOT accepted for summer programming. Youth must complete and submit a summer application and submit by application deadline to be considered for summer employment. Under no circumstance may any referral agency mandate or court order youth into the Art At Work program. Placement is based upon employment availability and interview process.

Summer application is not available this year
TO APPLY YOU MUST:
- be a U.S. citizen
- be a Fulton County resident ages 14, 15, or 16. Applicants must be 14 years old by June 12th. If you are 16 years old and are turning 17 by June 12th, you are not eligible.
- complete an AAW job application and attend an interview session. Youth must present five (5) original pieces of art during the interview session. NOTE: Applicant becomes employed based upon interview.
- be able to work Monday through Friday, 11am to 4pm during the summer months.
- Application must be received in a sealed envelope by application deadline. Faxed applications will not be accepted. Late applications will not be accepted. Postmark dated applications will not be accepted. Incomplete applications will not be accepted
- Do not submit your grade report or resume

No comic book/cartoon/anime' artwork accepted
Bring your best artwork to present and discuss during the interview. Be prepared to talk about your artwork.

- Visual artwork can be any combination of: sculpture, ceramic, fiber art/textile, drawing/painting, creative writing/poetry.
- Artwork must have a still life/portrait or cityscape/landscape theme.
- No cartoon, anime, or lettering/typography artwork accepted.
- Do not fax or mail your artwork.
